Branding Photo Tips for Coaches in Singapore
If you're a coach or consultant in Singapore, your personal brand is everything. People want to work with someone they feel a connection with—and your photos play a big role in that first impression.
I had the joy of photographing the beautiful Beata, a coach and the founder of Energising Goals, and her session was the perfect example of how branding photos can capture both professionalism and personality. If you're planning a photoshoot of your own, here are five tips you can borrow from her session:
Choose a location that matches your brand energy
Our first session started in Beata’s home office, a perfect backdrop for a personal branding session for a coach who works from home. We captured her in action, working on her laptop, jotting down notes, and engaging with her clients through virtual sessions. These lifestyle headshots are designed to show authenticity and connection, highlighting Beata’s genuine approach to coaching.
2. Capture a mix of professional and lifestyle shots
Branding photos are about more than just headshots. We captured Beata working with her laptop, journaling, enjoying a cup of tea, and connecting with her crystals—all simple, everyday rituals that tell the story of her coaching style. These lifestyle touches help your audience feel like they know the real you.
3. Let your personality shine through
Whether it’s through your wardrobe, your smile, or the props you bring, don’t be afraid to show a bit of your personality. Beata’s photos radiate warmth and calm because she brought her true self to the shoot. The more you feel like you, the more your clients will feel that too.
4. think about how you’ll use the photos
We planned Beata’s shoot with specific platforms in mind—her website, Instagram, newsletters, and client onboarding materials. Knowing where you want to use the photos helps shape the types of images we capture, from wide horizontal banners to vertical social media-friendly shots.
We also captured more relaxed settings within her home, capturing Beata in her element. These moments included her reading her favourite books and spending quality time with her dog. These lifestyle headshots not only showcase her professional side but also offer a glimpse into her personal life, making her brand more relatable and approachable.

For Beata’s second session we chose an outdoor location. Beata works with many corporate clients in her coaching practice, so we chose Raffles Place, one of Singapore’s business’s districts.
Which brings us to tip number 5…
5. Have fun!
A photoshoot doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly “posed.” I always aim to create a relaxed atmosphere for my clients. When you feel comfortable and at ease, it shows in every photo.
We started early one morning and captured photos of Beata with her laptop, walking on the streets and also captured some of Singapore’s iconic landmarks.
I think you’ll agree the photos capture Beata’s sparkling personality in a fun and natural way:)
And what did Beata have to say?
“ There are no words to describe how INCREDIBLE your work is Nina🤍👌⚡️ I love all the photos you took. You made it sooooo easy to smile and be myself. And OMG I took a few days to review the photos and the conclusion hasn't changed, I WANT THEM ALL. Thank you so much💕 ”
